My glass art pieces are all one-of-a-kind. Each is individually hand painted and gilded with precious metal leaf.
This Large decorative glass bowl is gilded with 23-Karat Yellow gold, engraved and hand painted in black and green on the back side of the glass. This process is called verre églomisé, a term for cold painting and gilding on the reverse side of the glass. There are many layers that are sealed making it a usable piece of fine art.
Enjoy, use, and a gentle hand-wash will do.
